A Medieval silver half groat of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), Serie C dating from AD 1351 - 1352. London Mint. See North (1994) number 1148 on page 50. Part of the edge of the flan is missing between 12 and 3 o'clock on the obverse. The break seems to be ancient. There are also some crackes in the edge of the coin. The bust is worn and the reverse long cross is visible on the obverse ownign to "ghosting". The end of the reverse legend is also worn.

The coin is 22.1mm diameter, 0.8mm thick and 2.22g.
