A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD1400).
The rimsherd consists of a local (unsourced) unglazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz and grit inclusions and occasional mica, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD, most likely from a jug.
The sherd is 6.2 mm thick and weighs 10.8 g. It has a length of 26.4 mm and is 43.9 mm wide.
