A bodysherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD1200 toAD1400).

The bodysherd consists of a local (unsourced) unglazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Due to the size of the fragment, it is hard to determine the original vessel form, but possibly a jug or cooking pot.

The sherd is 5.4 mm thick and weighs 2.6 g. It measures 18.7 mm in length and 22.2 mm wide.
