Medieval sheet copper alloy shield-shaped strap end with two rivets and square roves, a bar-mount of arched cross-section, a rounded inside edge and a large curved notch on both sides. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, 156-8. Length and width 16.5 and 12.3mm. Bar-mount 4.5 x 12.5mm. c.1270 - c.1450.
