A flint side-and-end scraper of Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2350 BC). The scraper is struck on a tertiary flake and retains no cortex on the dorsal surface. It exhibits three negative flake scars on the dorsal surface from previous flake removal. There is short scaled semi-abrupt retouch at the distal end and running the length of one mesal edge. The ventral surface exhibits a low bulb of percussion concurrent with soft-hammer working. The flint is a semi-translucent mottled dark to mid grey with large lighter coloured coarse-grained inclusions.
The scraper measures 48.25mm in length, 34.26mm in width, is 12.02mm thick and weighs 24.30g.
