An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy dress hook, dating to the 17th century AD. Read Early Post Medieval Class A, Type 8. The remains of the object consist of an oval plate bearing possible foliate and floriate design with a beaded border; rounded attachment-knops, the end one with a projecting rounded collar; a debased bifurcate ornamental knop either side; the blunt ended hook is broken off at its end. It measures 43.66mm long, 21.5mm wide, 1.85mm thick and weighs 6.4 grams.
