Fragment of a medieval to post-medieval sheet copper alloy composite rumbler bell, a badly distorted fragment of the upper half with a separate suspension loop. On the inner face the inserted ends of the loop are entirely covered by a patch of lead solder. The dimensions of the main body are not measurable. The strip forming the partly squashed loop is 7mm wide. Bells of this type appeared in the late 13th century (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 338) and continued into the 17th (Egan 2005, 57).
