This find consists of four Post Medieval silver coins, found whilst metal detecting on pasture land. The coins were discovered about six inches deep; three of the coins were stacked on top of each other with the reverse sides facing upwards. The fourth coin was found approximately six inches away at an angle in the ground.

Notes:
Since the four coins are of a similar date, and were found stacked together, with the fourth in very close proximity, it is my opinion that this small hoard fulfils the criteria of treasure, according to the terms of the 1996 Act.
