Fragment of a Late Saxon sheet copper alloy finger ring, about one quarter surviving. Three punched ring-and-dots and part of a fourth are flanked by engraved lines running parallel to the edges. The form is uncertain but it was probably similar to an example from Thetford (Goodall, A.R. in Rogerson and Dallas 1984, fig. 110, no. 113). Width 6.2 - 7.5mm. Very approximate diameter 20mm.
