Medieval copper alloy bar mount from a strap. Central sub-oval lobe flanked by two smaller lobes. Both terminal lobes pierced by extant copper alloy rivet, hollow-backed central lobe with band of incised cross-hatching. Cf. broadly similar examples in Dress Accessories (1991) fig.134, nos.1160-1. Circa 14th century.
