Ceramic Body sherd of Early Medieval date; grey-black core, oxidised to pale brown at the interior surface and burnished black at the exterior surface. Abundant sand temper, with common angular black grits >1.0mm in length and rare mica.

The vessel fragment is 45.1mm long, 41.3mm wide, 8.6mm thick and weighs 19g.
