Copper alloy and iron possible hinge fragment. Sheet metal plate, pointed at one end and apparently rolled around a steel spindle, now corroded, at the other. A pair of small flat headed steel tacks, of head diameter 4.5mm, have been casually punched through the metal to attach it to another object. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1660-1800.
