A fragment of a copper alloy Medieval single looped buckle. The buckle fragment consists of the curved outer frame, with the arms and the narrowed strap bar now broken and missing. Thereis faint decoration consisting of two elongated open panels either side of a small rise for the pin to rest on. This type of buckle dates from c. AD 1250-1400.
