Late Neolithic flaked axe with a polished edge, pointed oval section, an area of the original cortex is present as a fault near the butt. The flint appears mid-grey and translucent. Flaking carried out by the removal of large flakes. Both sides are of the cutting edge are polished, the polishing extending for around 6mm. The butt may have suffered some recent truncation. Edge polished flint axes are of late Neolithic date. Length 101mm, Width 42mm, Thickness 26mm, Mass 122.0g
