Flaked axehead, pointed oval section, cortex present at distal end, mixed, light-grey and off-white flint, opaque, light recortication all over. Flaking carried out by the removal of large flakes on both sides, one side of the cutting edge shows the removal of a tranchet flake, the other side bears parallel flaking. This object could be Mesolithic but a late Neolithic date is also possible. Length 135mm, Width 51mm, Thickness 28mm, Mass 240.4g
