A silver Edwardian penny with blundered legend. Probably an Edward I.
The obverse has part of the reverse legend where the Kings name is typically found (CANTOR ANGL....). On the reverse, the quarters containing CIVI/TAS are blundered. This is a fault caused by mis-striking the coin in the die, and replacing the coin to restrike at a different axis.
This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
