Headplate from a sixth-century Anglo-Saxon brooch. The headplate is probably from a Smal-Long brooch. The headplate is rectangular and decorated with a perimeter of punched crescents. The bow is short, arched, and broken at the base. The lower part of the brooch is missing. An incomplete integral pin lug is located in the centre of the reverse.
This is possibly the missing part to LIN-A9CDE3, found close by.
