A fragment of a gilded copper alloy unidentified object probably of modern date. It is disk shaped with a central circular rivet hole surrounded by three others (all with copper alloy rivets in situ) and various notches, rivet holes and a raised rectangle around the outside edge. Only one face is gilded. It appears to be a componant of a larger object, perhaps a pocket watch.
