Silver penny of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), North second issue coinage (1561-1582), Spink fifth issue (1578-82). North Vol 2, 1991, p.135, no.2001. Mint mark plain cross, 1578-80. Some wear around circumference obscure parts of legend and some signs of post depositional folding, otherwise detail is sharp.

Measurements: 13.45mm in diameter and 0.64mm thick. 0.46g in weight.
