A flint scraper of Mesolithic or Neolithic date, about 9000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a large flake of light grey flint with large white inclusions. It is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-trapezoid in cross-section. Both ends have suffered damage and are incomplete. There is scaled, long, semi-abrupt retouch along the left side forming a scraping edge, and some shorter, sub-parallel, low angle retouch on the surviving parts of the distal end. The flake is 70.5mm long, 29.3mm wide and 9.8mm thick. 20.03g.
