Undated copper alloy object, 55mm long, 30mm wide and 15mm thick with a weight of 38.51grams. The object consists of a twisted rod, giving a rope effect, that has been folded into a knotted shape.
Its form is similar to post medieval rope effect brooches, but there is no evidence for fittings. It could be also be part of a torc or similar early item of jewellery, but there is no sign of any terminals etc that could date it.
