3 AR denarii to AD 138 BM ref.: 2015 T418
PAS ID: SWYOR-EFCB7A
Circumstances of discovery
Found by [name redacted] with the aid of a metal detector, January 2009-June 2015. Perhaps a dozen more denarii were recovered over these years but as they came up so sporadically the finder did not realise they were part of a hoard and they were not kept. Another finder recovered a denarius of Sabina but likewise did not retain it. The residue presented here consists of one coin of Nerva and two of Hadrian.
