A Post Medieval silver groat of Henry VIII, dating from AD 1544-1547. Third coinage. Southwark mint of London. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 114, no. 1845. The coin is very worn and a portion of the circumference is missing, probably due to in situ damage.
