An incomplete copper alloy possibly post-medieval (AD c.1540-c.1900) possible mount, missing a corner and a stone inlay. Overall, the object is broadly triangular in shape and measures 25.8mm long, 27.1mm wide and 4.3mm thick. It weighs 4.4g. The object is divided into two parts, each containing a setting for an inlay. One part is roughly heater shield shaped and contains a green stone. The second part is incomplete but appears to have been in the shape of an isosceles trapezium. The setting is missing its stone. The edges of the object are bevelled. The reverse is mostly flat but there are traces of solder on the reverse of the shield-shaped setting, suggesting that the object was attached to something else.
