A now bent and distorted silver stirrup-shaped finger-ring dating to the medieval period. The finger ring has a plain hoop with a D-shaped in cross section, rising to a triangular bezel at the top of which is a circular void which would have held a glass or stone setting, but which is now missing. According to Pritchard (Egan and Pritchard 1991: 326) these stirrup-shaped rings were 'popular in England from the middle of 12th century for at least three-hundred years'.
