Medieval lead alloy trade weight, 37mm long, 28mm wide and 10mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 57.37grams. The object is 'shield' shaped being triangular with two curving long edges. The upper straight edge has a rectangular suspension hole in its centre and the object has a rectangular cross-section. It is stepped, with a slightly smaller upper surface and this is decorated with a lion, possibly rampant, though this is hard to confirm.
