Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy Colchester brooch, with almost all of the spring, the pin, the forward facing hook, the outer end of one wing and all but a stump of the catchplate missing. The wings are decorated with two low vertical ribs and the bow with two median wavy lines. Mackreth 2011 C 6.c, the Sedgford [sic]. Estimated wingspan c.21mm. Length 55mm. Width of bow at top 10.6mm. c.20 - c.60.
