Just over half of a post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops rectangular or trapezoidal (narrowing slightly from the edges). The external face is bevelled and the bar is narrowed. Rust on the bar may derive from an iron pin, but as it extends over the fracture across one side, it may not. Similar to Whitehead 2003, nos. 460-1. Estimated length 38mm. Width 25.6mm. c.1570 - c.1700.
