A very worn medieval copper-alloy heraldic mount of an elaborate quatrefoil form. The stud is enamelled with red and blue inlay and specks of possible gilding survive. The design appears to show a central lion with a fleur-de-lis in each lobe. On the back is a long shank, now blunt and probably truncated, for attachment to wood.
