Medieval copper alloy seal matrix, 24mm long and 18mm in diameter with a weight of 10.42grams. The object consists of a circular suspension loop set atop a short, circular sectioned shaft which has bulging sides. This spreads into a circular matrix which is decorated with an 'envelope' like motif formed of three triangles with a cross topped shaft running up the middle. The inscription is difficult to read but the following letters S.------ *EGVEBI-D. can be made out.
