Post-medieval copper alloy tap key, horizontal cylinder for insertion into a tap or spigot (length 56mm), slightly narrowed upper end with traces of concentric turning lines and a flange (diam.20mm) at base separating it from the slightly tapering body (diam.16mm) which is broken across a transverse perforation in the foot, terminal missing. Weight 76.82g. 16th - 17th century.
