A cast copper alloy, single loop, medieval buckle, Meols type 11, dating from AD 1250 - 1350. The sides of the frame are convex and there is a recessed and offset pin bar. The thick outer edge has a central, copper alloy roller. The pin is missing. The buckle is 21.5mm long, 19.8mm wide, 5.4mm thick and weighs 4.1 grams.
