An incomplete cast copper alloy rosette brooch of the keyhole type dating to the 1st century AD (late Iron Age to early Roman). The brooch has a roughly circular top with a central perforation around which is a cross design within a raised circle. Beneath is part of a triangular base terminating in a knop on the right side. There are two decorative lines in the shape of an inverted triangle and it seems that the third line follows the break where the left side of the triangle is now missing. On the reverse the integral catchplate is present, but the pin is missing. The brooch is 33.72mm in length, maximum width is 20.11mm, and it weighs 7.37grams.
