Post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with grooved knops at the ends of the bar and on the edges. Rust on the bar suggests a iron pin and/or plate. Cf. Whitehead 2003, no. 403, a smaller example and ibid. no. 404, a larger. Length and width 44.3 and 29.3mm. Mid 16th - mid 17th century.
