An incomplete lead alloy token or tally dating to the Late Medieval to Post-Medieval period (AD 1400-1700). The object has an irregular and fragmented outer flan. The token is slightly concave and uniface. The design consists of a series of a raised geometric shapes, linear and curvilinear. This design may be the lower portion of a bust, facing with radiating lines around.
The token is large and thick and the lead alloy may be pewter; pewter tokens are sometimes considered to be earlier in date than the majority of lead tokens.
The metal is a dark grey in colour with a slightly pitted patina.
