Incomplete and partly distorted post-medieval sheet copper alloy composite sharp-hooked and heart-shaped clasp of Read 2008, Class D, Type 5. The hook and parts of the front plate are missing. The edges of the back plate are engrailed and the front plate is decorated, within a border of pellets and radial ribs, with three double concentric circles of tiny pellets, each surrounding a septfoil, with, in the centre of the three, a large pellet. Length and width 24.3 and 21.7mm. 16th century.
