Copper alloy finger ring with a stone and enamel set in its bezel. Cast oval ring bezel with a chipped round lemon yellow gemstone of diameter 6.3mm set centrally and bedded in mid blue semi-translucent enamel, which overlaps the edge of its cell on one side. The shoulders of the ring extend beyond the bezel, but in profile they taper markedly to join a thin band (lost opposite the bezel). Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-200.

Internal diameter: 18.4mm, Height (as found): 15mm, Length (bezel and shoulders): 19.3mm, Width (across bezel): 12.0mm, Weight: 5.67gms.
