Roman copper-alloy penannular brooch. The brooch is circular in form but slightly distorted. The brooch is circular in section with two tightly coiled terminals at right angles to the plane of the loop. The terminals are set apart and the surface of the brooch is undecorated and slightly corroded. The pin is missing. Diameter 30mm, thickness 2mm, weight 2.66g. Bayley and Butcher 2004, pg 136, fig. 403. Hattats 2000, pg 340, fig.199, pl. 651.
