A complete Neolithic flint scraper (4000 BC-2351 BC).
This scraper has been produced on a primary flake and has a striking platform. The surface of the dorsal face is covered by about 70% buff and off-white cortex. It has been retouched at the distal end and also on the left side of the proximal end. At the distal end the removals are short to long, parallel and low angled. The ventral face is grey with creamy white mottling and has a bulb of percussion with associated ripples. Except for the cortex, the surfaces are shiny and smooth but do not display any gloss or visible wear.
