A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards).
The lead shot is spherical in shape. A casting seam is present around the mid point of the musket ball.
It is a light to mid grey colour with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in the loss of some of the original surface detail.
It has a diameter of 12.3 mm and weighs 10.4 grams.
