Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c.2700 BC to c.1000 BC) probable plano-convex knife: The knapped flint knife is an elongated pointed sub-oval, with a D-shaped cross section. The dorsal surface has sub-parallel and scaled invasive retouch. The retouch is semi-abrupt at a low angle on the dorsal surface. Along both lateral edges the edge is serrated in an irregular manner. The ventral surface has a prominent bulb of percussion, bulbar scars, and ripples. The proximal end has a wide striking platform. The flint is a mid mottled brown colour with more matte, beige patches. The knife has been made from a piece of secondary debitage. The knife measures 35.76mm long using the striking platform as a horizontal edge, 27.56mm wide, 8.3mm thick at the bulb of percussion and weighs 6.6g.
