Medieval gilt copper alloy circular harness pendant with traces of an iron spindle in the suspension loop. Engraved decoration comprises a border of radial lines around a circle the area within which is subdivided into quarters containing closely spaced lines, alternatively horizontal and vertical. Height 34.4mm. Width / diameter 23.7mm. 12th century.
