A flint knife dating from the Neolithic period (4000 BC - 2200 BC). The knife is formed on a seconday flake of reddish grey coloured flint. It is D shaped in plan. It is bifacially worked on the curved edge with invasive, scaled, low-angle retouch. The straight edge is worked with short scaled semi-abrupt retouch. Cortex survives on the dorsal face. The knife is 34.9mm long, 17.6mm wide and 4.1mm thick. 2.85g.
