Worn, corroded and incomplete Roman tinned copper alloy hinged Colchester Derivative (Dolphin) brooch, enclosed wings, both with twin vertical grooves, contain corroded iron axis bar, pin missing. Broken D-sectioned bow with median rib between four sets of three grooves in a lozengiform arrangement, foot and catchplate missing. Wingspan 29mm. Extant length 25mm. c.55 - c.80.
