A silver cut halfpenny of Henry II, Richard I, John or Henry III dating to the period circa AD 1180 - 1247. Short cross reverse. Moneyer uncertain. Mint of Canterbury.
While the half of the coin which remains is fairly legible it is not possible to narrow the attribution any further as no surviving detail is particularly diagnostic and coins were issued from the Canterbury mint throughout the short cross coinage period.
