Fragment of the spilt end a Middle Saxon to Late Saxon copper alloy Thomas 2003, Class A strap end, the attachment edge with a central notch and two rivet holes close by. That there is no decoration indicates the fragment is from the rear of the split. Extant length 17.5mm. Width 12.8mm. Thickness 0.8mm. 9th century.
