A medieval iron arrowhead known as a 'broadhead', incomplete in so far as part of the base of the socket is missing and probably a section from each barb is also missing.
The arrowhead measures 60.2mm in length and the blade is lozenge- or diamond-shaped in cross-section. At the break, the socket measures 11.6mm in diameter with a central hole 3.4mm in diameter. It is max. 28.2mm wide across the barbs. The arrowhead weighs 12.76g.

Notes:

Such arrowheads were probably used for hunting and Oliver Jessop suggests they were popular in the 13th and 14th centuries (Jessop, 1997; 4).
