A small, worn and bent copper alloy double oval buckle frame without pin of Medieval or early Post Medieval date (1350-1550). The loops are thin, oval in plan and roughly D-shaped in cross-section, being flat to the reverse. The buckle frame is slightly warped and one of the loops has a break, although there is minimal loss. The frame has a dark purplish-grey patina.
The frame is 23.1mm long and 18.5mm wide (internal loop dimensions c.15x8mm). It is 3.6mm thick and weighs 1.46g.
