Copper alloy pin probably of a penannular brooch, probably Roman, but with a broad possible date-range from the Late Iron Age to the Early Saxon. The cross-section of the loop is flat and that of the shaft round. Length 40mm. Width of loop 3.8mm. c.1 - c.600 AD.
