Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy harness mount in the form of a spur rowel with the stumps of four integral sub-rectangular attachment spikes on the reverse. Eight triangular-sectioned points (four stumps only) alternate with short angular projections. These are joined to the inner parts of the spikes. Cf. SUR-AD7413. Diameter 60mm. Thickness excluding attachment spikes 2mm. 17th - 18th century.
